Dr. Cecilia María Ortiz Ahlf will assume the position of Head of the Academic Department of Administration of ITAM, a position that she will occupy as of July 16, 2021. Dr. Cecilia Ortiz graduated from the Bachelor of Actuary and the Master of Administration ITAM. Subsequently, she completed his doctoral studies in Business Administration at Florida International University.

 

Since 2017, she has served as Director of ITAM's Bachelor of Administration. Her research focuses on Hispanic consumer behavior and the effects of language use in advertising, her articles have been published in the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Business Research, International Journal of Advertising and she is the author of a book on the process of acculturation of Hispanics in the United States. Likewise, she has served as a consultant in market research projects in Latin America.

Dr. Ortiz Ahlf will occupy this position in substitution of Dr. Franciso Pérez González, who will continue as General Director of ITAM's Academic Division of Administration and Accounting.
